Eva Mendes is both an model and actor. The actress was noticed by a talent agency who was impressed by her talents and convinced her to pursue to work in the entertainment field. She dropped out of university after much consideration to pursue a career in entertainment. Following a disappointment with her performances, she made her film debut in Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. She worked hard to hone her acting talents and also performed in several low-budget films in order to demonstrate her talents. The road to this actor wasn't an easy one, but his tenacity and perseverance were rewarded. Following her victory in Training Day, her career as an actor took off.
