Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American performer and model. She is also a co-star in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain. Kotero is famous for her role as co-star in the 1984 film by Prince Purple Rain and for having been the lead singer of the group of girls Apollonia 6. in the late 1980s, the singer-actress Prince named Apollonia to be one of several female artists who gained by their connection with Prince. Apollonia made her debut album in 1988. However, it was a mediocre compilation of music from R&B and dancing that didn't impress her fans. The album soon vanished in the shuffle. She remained active (if a little under the radar) as an actress in the next decade in a variety of small TV roles as well as minor film and released an exercise video. Apollonia released a bilingual album in Spanish and English called Stay with Me in 1997.
